Happy New Year!

As Christmas ends and the New Year begins I look forward to the best 2014 ever! As I don't enjoy taking down all the decorations as much as I love putting them up...........this year I must admit was very hectic..........and it always makes me a little sad to see such a bare house..........but the holidays must end so that we can anticipate and enjoy them next year!
This year my twin grandson really enjoyed Christmas, they finally got who Santa was and the meaning of Christmas and what part Jesus plays in it all. It was so nice to see them in their Christmas show and spend time with them over Christmas. Christopher is only 10 months old and really wasn't much into Christmas this year......but I know that will change in the years to come.  He still looked so cute in his Christmas outfit and was excited to watch the boys open their gifts as he sat with Mommy and she helped open his gifts.

As New Year's Eve approaches, we will spend it with good friends and good food as always. I wish you a very Happy, Healthy New Year from my home to yours.

Merry Christmas....let the cookie baking begin!!

As we get ready for that all important day "Christmas" with the dinners, visiting, gift giving and sharing lots of memories..................we won't forget to give thanks for all of these things that we enjoy doing, our families, our friends and also remembering the armed forces that keep us safe and pray that they stay safe too.
And this is a good time of year to consume as many cookies as you can! Cookies have no calories at Christmas time, did you know that??
